As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you'll help schools maintain high standards of teaching and learning when permanent staff are absent.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Providing general classroom cover when required.
- Teaching within your subject specialism where possible.
- Maintaining positive behaviour and classroom expectations.
- Keeping pupils engaged and focused on their learning.
- Adapting to different schools, classes and routines.
- Following safeguarding and school policies.
- Providing feedback to relevant teaching staff.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching secondary-aged pupils.
- Confident classroom and behaviour management.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A flexible, professional and reliable approach.
