Job Summary

Phoenix Care Staff are recruiting caring, reliable and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to support residents in care homes and help them maintain their dignity, independence and wellbeing.

Candidates must have a minimum of six months’ experience in a care role. Experience supporting individuals with dementia, Parkinson’s disease and mobility needs is desirable.

We are looking for individuals who are patient, hardworking and committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care.

Essential requirements

Skills Needed • Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a care role. • Experience supporting individuals with dementia is desirable. • Knowledge of Parkinson’s disease and its impact on daily living is preferable. • Experience using mobility aids, such as walking frames, wheelchairs and hoists, is desirable. • Understanding of personal care, moving and handling, and promoting independence. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • A caring, patient and compassionate approach. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is preferable.
