Summary
Merit & Method Tuition is looking for a qualified, experienced A-Level Maths teacher to deliver small-group online tutoring sessions (4-8 students) for students aiming for top grades. This is a self-employed role, paid per session delivered, with flexible availability. Sessions are weekly, at a fixed time you agree in advance, typically one evening or weekend slot per week. Ideal for a current or former teacher looking for flexible additional income alongside existing work.
Essential requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with demonstrable A-Level Maths teaching experience - Strong understanding of AQA, Edexcel, and/or OCR A-Level Maths specifications - Comfortable delivering small-group sessions online (e.g. via Zoom or Google Meet) - Enhanced DBS check required (ideally already registered with the DBS Update Service) - Reliable, clear communicator, able to commit to an agreed weekly time slot for a 6-8 week block
