Summary

Horticulturist / Gardener – Team Leader

We are looking for an experienced horticulturist / gardener to lead a small team and take a hands-on role in our garden maintenance work across Edinburgh.

You will maintain private gardens and commercial grounds, organise daily tasks and support your team in delivering a consistently high standard of care.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Identifying plants and understanding their care requirements.

* Lawn mowing, edging and strimming.

* Hedge cutting and seasonal pruning.

* Weeding and maintaining beds and borders.

* Keeping gardens and grounds tidy and well presented.

* Using and maintaining garden machinery, tools and equipment safely and efficiently.

* Organising the team’s work and ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard.

Sound plant knowledge and practical garden maintenance experience are essential. You should be reliable, organised and confident guiding a small team while taking an active role in the work.
