Your new role

As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of electrical building services solutions, working collaboratively with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

*Producing and developing electrical building services designs across various project stages.

*Undertaking electrical calculations, specifications and technical documentation.

*Designing and coordinating electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution and associated building services installations.

*Liaising with clients, architects, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams.

*Ensuring designs comply with relevant regulations, standards and industry best practices.

*Supporting the successful delivery of projects from initial concept through to completion.

*Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers where required.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this position, you will have:*Previous experience in electrical design within the Building Services industry.

*A strong understanding of electrical building services systems and relevant design standards.

*Experience producing technical designs, calculations and specifications.

*The ability to manage your own workload and contribute effectively to project delivery.

*Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

*A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

A relevant engineering qualification would be advantageous, although practical experience and technical capability will also be considered.
