  • Prepare clear, accurate and timely audit reports, identifying findings, opportunities for improvement and areas of best practice.
  • Deliver training and awareness sessions to support continual improvement and compliance across programme teams.
  • Monitor corrective actions and support teams in implementing effective improvements.
  • Collaborate with SHEǪS and operational teams to promote a culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to assurance activities within a highly regulated environment, ensuring adherence to both internal and external requirements.

Skills, Experience and qualifications

  • Experience as an Auditor (but this is more of a quality practitioner role) within construction, engineering, infrastructure, or a related industry.
  • Proven experience conducting audit and assurance activities across construction-related activities.
  • Strong knowledge of auditing systems, processes, and assurance methodologies.
  • Excellent report-writing, analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels and provide constructive challenges where required.
  • Experience delivering training, briefings, or awareness sessions.
  • An initiative-taking approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Relevant vocational qualification or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience working within a regulated environment, like nuclear, defence, infrastructure, O&G, Rail or a similarly safety-critical sector.
  • Experience supporting SHEǪS (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality and Sustainability) activities and management systems.

What is in it for you?

Generous holiday entitlement with the option to buy five days.

  • Flexible and adaptable working
  • Family friendly policies and work/life approach
