Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facilities Management Monitoring Officer to support the delivery of safe, high-quality and compliant facilities services across its hospital and community sites.
This role is ideal for individuals with experience in facilities management, healthcare, hospitality, hotel operations, auditing, compliance, quality assurance or housekeeping services. Candidates with backgrounds in hotel auditing, accommodation services, guest experience or hospitality quality management are encouraged to apply.
Working within the Property Services Team, you will monitor and audit both in-house and contracted services, including cleaning, catering, waste management, portering, accommodation and maintenance, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, statutory obligations, key performance indicators (KPIs) and Trust standards.
You will undertake audits, inspections and service reviews across Trust sites, assessing service performance against specifications, contracts, KPIs and national standards.

You will evaluate cleanliness and environmental standards in clinical and non-clinical areas, identify risks and improvement opportunities, and support actions that enhance quality, safety and patient experience.
The role is well suited to candidates experienced in auditing, quality inspections, housekeeping standards, service monitoring and continuous improvement. You will analyse performance data, produce reports, identify trends and work collaboratively with contractors, operational teams, clinical colleagues and service users to drive service excellence and compliance.
The successful candidate will have strong organisational and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex operational environment.
