Plumber Multi Trader (Social Housing)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber Multi-Trader to join a well-established property maintenance contractor on a full-time, permanent basis, working across a social housing repairs and maintenance contract.

Salary: £23.52 per hour - £35,000 per annum + package
Contract Type: 12 week Temporary - Permanent
Start date: Immediately available
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled plumber with experience in domestic repairs, including unvented cylinders, who also possesses basic multi-trade abilities. You will work independently across your allocated patch, carrying out repairs in tenants' homes while delivering a professional and customer-focused service.
The Role:
You will be part of a dedicated Repairs and Maintenance team, completing plumbing repairs and associated multi-trade works across social housing properties in Stratford-upon-Avon and the surrounding areas.
A dedicated planning team will organise your daily schedule, ensuring jobs are allocated within your local area and that you have the necessary information to complete each task. Although the role involves working independently, support will be available from supervisors when required.
Plumbing must be your core trade, alongside basic skills in one or more additional trades, including carpentry, plastering, tiling, groundwork or painting and decorating.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out domestic plumbing repairs, utilising your knowledge of unvented cylinders and associated plumbing systems.
- Complete allocated repairs efficiently and to the required standard.
- Identify additional works and notify supervisors when other trades are required.
- Work collaboratively with other operatives where necessary to complete repairs and projects.
- Maintain accurate job records and update progress using a PDA, smartphone or tablet.
- Deliver excellent customer service to tenants and client representatives.
- Arrange the purchase of materials required to complete works efficiently.
- Follow all health and safety, safeguarding and occupational road safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Plumbing must be your core trade.
- Basic multi-trade skills in at least one additional trade, such as carpentry, plastering, tiling, groundwork or painting and decorating.
- Experience with unvented cylinders and domestic plumbing repairs.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Confidence using a tablet or smartphone to receive jobs, record notes and update work progress.
- Previous experience working within social housing repairs and maintenance.
