About the Company

We’re a fast-growing app growth agency based in Central London, helping clients across the UK, Europe and the Americas launch, grow and scale their apps. We combine creativity, technology and data-driven thinking to deliver measurable growth.

We’re looking for a talented and ambitious Design Lead to join our growing Creative Studio. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong designer with a passion for performance marketing who’s ready to take the next step in their career, develop their strategic skills and have a bigger influence on creative direction.

About the Role

This role is ideal for a Senior Designer or creative professional ready to step up into a more strategic, senior position. You’ll combine strong visual design skills with the ability to develop thoughtful, performance-led creative strategies for paid media campaigns.

You don’t need to have spent years in a creative leadership role already. We’re more interested in someone with great ideas, a solid understanding of paid media creative, the confidence to explain their thinking and the ambition to take on more responsibility.

Working closely with the wider team, you’ll help turn audience insights and campaign performance into creative ideas that make an impact. You’ll contribute to creative concepts, guide production and help improve campaign results across platforms such as Meta and Google.

We’re looking for someone with energy, curiosity and a positive attitude who enjoys collaborating with others, brings ideas to the table and wants to grow into a key role within the Creative Studio.

Key Responsibilities

Develop creative strategies for paid media campaigns across platforms such as Meta and Google.

Turn audience insights, campaign data and performance learnings into clear creative ideas and recommendations.

Generate fresh concepts for static ads, video, UGC and other paid media formats.

Contribute to the creative process from initial research and ideation through to production and performance analysis.

Use creative testing and campaign insights to identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation.

Apply strong design skills to create, review and refine high-quality paid media assets when needed.

Work collaboratively with account, performance and creative teams to deliver effective campaigns.

Help brief and coordinate freelance designers, creators and other external partners where required.

Present creative ideas and recommendations clearly to internal teams and clients.

Keep up to date with emerging creative trends, platform developments and best practices in performance marketing.

Explore AI-powered creative tools and new technologies to improve ideation, production and efficiency.

Contribute ideas to improve creative processes, workflows and the quality of the studio’s output.

Build your strategic, client-facing and leadership skills as you take on greater ownership within the team.

Requirements

Strong experience as a Designer, Senior Designer, Creative Strategist or in a similar creative role, ideally within a digital, creative or performance marketing agency.

A strong portfolio demonstrating creative thinking, visual design skills and work produced for digital or paid media campaigns.

Experience developing, contributing to or executing paid media creative strategies across Meta, Google or other performance channels.

An understanding of how creative assets influence campaign performance, engagement and conversions.

The ability to turn audience insights, research and performance data into compelling creative ideas.

Familiarity with different paid media formats, including static ads, video, UGC and other emerging formats.

A good understanding of creative testing, optimisation and performance-led design.

An interest in mobile apps, app growth and App Store Optimisation (ASO), or the motivation to develop expertise in these areas.

Strong visual design skills and proficiency in Figma.

Confidence in sharing ideas, explaining creative decisions and collaborating with different teams.

An interest in AI-powered creative tools and emerging technologies.

A proactive, curious and enthusiastic approach, with the drive to learn, improve and take on more responsibility.

A collaborative mindset, positive energy and the ability to contribute to a supportive, creative team culture.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with strong creative foundations, good strategic instincts and the ambition to grow. You don’t need to have done everything already, but you should be excited to learn, bring fresh ideas and take your work to the next level.
