Summary
Maintenance Engineer Wanted
Our client, a well-established and successful manufacturing business, is looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering Maintenance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, fault finding, repairs and continuous improvement activities across production machinery and site equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and site equipment.
Diagnose faults and undertake mechanical and/or electrical repairs.
Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
Identify recurring faults and implement reliability improvements.
Maintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS.
Support statutory inspections, servicing and general site maintenance activities.
Work closely with production teams and other departments to resolve engineering issues.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.
Assist with equipment installations, modifications and continuous improvement projects.
Participate in shift rotation, overtime and call-out arrangements when required.
