Cover Supervisor (Sports)
Moore Teachers is working with a successful secondary academy that provides a positive and ambitious learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential. The role:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of teaching staff
- Leading and supervising sports-based activities and PE lessons where required
- Maintaining positive behaviour and high expectations in the classroom
- Encouraging student participation, engagement, and wellbeing
- Supporting learning across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a background in sport, coaching, PE, or working with young people
- Be confident leading groups of secondary-aged students
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Be enthusiastic, energetic, and adaptable
- Have a passion for promoting physical activity and student development
