Summary

An exceptional opportunity for a mid-level Regulatory Submissions Manager to shape the future of Healthcare in Nottingham.

Healthcare regulation doesn't stand still. New submission formats, tightening MHRA timelines and shifting post-Brexit frameworks mean the organisations that get this right move faster than everyone else. This role sits inside an established healthcare provider with a large regulatory affairs function, the kind of setting where submissions are treated as a discipline, not an afterthought. You'll join a team that has already built the frameworks. Your job is to run them well and push them further.

Here's what you'll be doing:

Preparing and coordinating regulatory submissions across multiple product lines, keeping every dossier accurate and on schedule

Acting as the main point of contact with regulatory authorities, managing queries and negotiating timelines where needed

Reviewing technical documentation before submission, catching gaps before they become delays

Tracking changing regulatory requirements and briefing internal teams on what it means for current projects

Managing submission timelines across several concurrent projects without letting any of them slip quietly

Mentoring junior regulatory staff and reviewing their submission work for accuracy

Here are the skills you'll need:

Solid experience preparing regulatory submissions within a healthcare or life sciences environment

Working knowledge of MHRA, EMA or equivalent regulatory frameworks

Sharp attention to detail. Submissions live or die on the small print

Confidence managing multiple deadlines at once, and knowing which one actually needs attention first

Clear written communication for both regulators and internal stakeholders

A degree in life sciences, pharmacy or a related field is preferred, though strong hands-on experience will count for a lot

Key perks and benefits:

£47,500 to £61,500 depending on experience

Hybrid working, with time split between the Nottingham office and home

Private medical and dental insurance

Enhanced pension scheme and performance-based bonuses

Structured career development within a large, established regulatory function

Why pursue a career in Healthcare?

Healthcare regulation is only getting more complex, and that complexity creates real career runway for people who can handle it properly. Nottingham has quietly become a strong base for healthcare and life sciences talent, with established employers and a growing cluster of specialist roles. A Regulatory Submissions Manager who builds a track record here won't struggle for options.
