Summary

Join a enterprise PR & Communications company as a Senior Account Executive in Liverpool.

Reputation management has become boardroom business. Clients no longer treat PR as an afterthought, they treat it as a core part of brand strategy, and that shift has created real demand for people who can run accounts properly. This is an established name in PR & Communications, the kind of firm with structured career paths and big-name clients on its books. As a Senior Account Executive, you'd be stepping into a team that already knows what good looks like.

Here's what you'll be doing:

Managing a portfolio of client accounts day to day, acting as the main point of contact for updates and requests

Drafting press releases, media pitches and briefing documents that actually get coverage

Building and maintaining relationships with journalists, editors and industry contacts across your sector

Coordinating campaign logistics, from launch events to media monitoring reports

Supporting senior account managers on strategy while taking ownership of your own client deliverables

Tracking coverage and compiling results reports that show clients what their investment is actually achieving

Here are the skills you'll need:

A couple of years' experience in a PR, communications or media agency setting

Strong written English. You'll be drafting copy that goes straight to journalists, so it needs to be clean first time

Confidence on the phone and in client meetings, even when the conversation gets awkward

An organised approach. You'll be juggling several accounts at once, and nothing should slip through the cracks

A genuine interest in current affairs and media trends, not just the client's sector

The ability to stay calm when a campaign doesn't go to plan, because sometimes it won't

Key perks and benefits:

Salary of £24,500 to £31,500, depending on experience

Hybrid working, splitting time between the Liverpool office and home

Private medical and dental insurance

Enhanced pension scheme and performance-based bonuses

A comprehensive benefits package plus genuine structured progression, not just a title change every few years

Why pursue a career in PR & Communications?

PR & Communications has grown well beyond press releases and photo calls. It now sits alongside marketing and digital strategy in most large organisations, which means the career ladder goes further than it used to. Liverpool has built a solid reputation as a media and communications hub outside London, with agencies here handling national and international accounts. For a Senior Account Executive with ambition, that's a useful place to build a name.

This Senior Account Executive opportunity is brought to you by The Opportunity Hub UK.
