Summary

Participate in duty doctor and triage responsibilities, managing same-day and urgent patient demand. Hold and manage a personal patient list, providing continuity of care where appropriate. Provide high-quality, patient-centred primary care services to the practice population. Undertake face-to-face, telephone and online consultations as appropriate. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in line with current clinical guidelines. Prescribe safely and effectively in accordance with professional and regulatory standards. Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records at all times. Participate in practice clinical meetings and multidisciplinary team working. Contribute to safeguarding responsibilities for children and vulnerable adults. Support the training and development of GP trainees and other healthcare professionals where appropriate. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and the ongoing development of practice services.
