Due to substantial growth within their Marine Cargo team, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marine Cargo Account Handler / Technician to join a highly successful and specialist team.This is a broad, technically focused position combining technical responsibilities with front-end broking support, offering significant exposure to clients whilst working alongside Brokers

Your new role

As a Marine Cargo Account handler/ Technician you will be responsible for providing vital technical support to brokers across a diverse Marine portfolio. You will be responsible for working closely with the Brokers and being responsible for the preparation of MRC slip and endorsement as well as renewal preparation for the brokers to take out and obtain terms. Other duties will include PPL for loading contracts and post-change endorsements, as well as, on occasions, broking risks via PPL. You will also be responsible for collating files for presentation to the processing teams.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have previous experience within the London Market insurance sector, handling Marine Cargo business.

You will be able to construct MRC slips based upon submissions received from the client, be able to use electronic placing platforms such as PPL and have good skills with client and underwriter liaison.
