Summary

Location:East SussexPay:£30-£42 per hourContract:Flexible Hours | Face-to-Face Tuition

Not every child thrives in a traditional classroom. Some need a quieter environment, a different teaching approach or simply someone who can take the time to understand how they learn best.

At BrightTeach, we're looking for dedicated SEND Tutors across East Sussex who can provide personalised education to children and young people who need additional support.

Whether you're an experienced teacher looking for greater flexibility or a SEND professional passionate about individualised learning, this is an opportunity to make a real difference.

Rather than managing a full classroom, you'll focus on the needs of individual learners, adapting your teaching to their abilities, interests and personal circumstances.

Your responsibilities will include:

One of the biggest advantages of SEND tutoring is the opportunity to concentrate on what matters most: helping an individual learner progress.

For some learners, progress might mean completing a maths activity independently. For others, it could be attending a full session, communicating their needs or beginning to enjoy learning again.

Every achievement matters.

If you have the experience, patience and enthusiasm to help children and young people overcome barriers to education, BrightTeach would love to hear from you.

Apply today to explore flexible SEND tutoring opportunities across East Sussex.

BrightTeach is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults. All successful applicants will be subject to safer recruitment checks, including an Enhanced DBS check, employment references, right to work verification, qualification checks and confirmation of address history. All staff are expected to share our commitment to creating safe, supportive learning environments for every learner.
