- Experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting

- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach

- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development

- Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection

- A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is desirable, depending on the setting and role

- A valid Paediatric First Aid certificate is highly desirable

- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with children and staff
