Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a range of cyber security solutions and controls.
  • Analyse threat intelligence and respond to day-to-day cyber threats, implementing mitigating controls where required.
  • Maintain vulnerability and remediation records to support audit compliance and protect IT assets.
  • Work with IT teams across the organisation to secure new, existing and legacy infrastructure.
  • Define, implement, maintain and improve security measures, policies and controls.
  • Support cyber incident response, including communications with internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers.
  • Work with third parties to ensure systems are patched, hardened and remediated appropriately.
  • Create and maintain security processes, procedures and support documentation.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft security technologies such as Sentinel, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Servers, Defender for Cloud Apps, Intune, Conditional Access, Identity Protection and Purview.
  • Knowledge of security tools and technologies including SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS, anti-virus, authentication, log management, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, sandboxing and MDM.
  • Awareness of infrastructure technologies including Windows Server, VMware, Exchange, IIS, SQL Server, Linux, Citrix, Cisco networking and backup technologies.
  • Understanding of security principles including ISMS, risk assessment, the CIA triad, attack vectors, cryptography and incident response practices such as triage and chain of custody.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify patterns and trends in technical data.
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Security+, SSCP, Network+, a computing or cyber security degree, or a similar qualification would be advantageous.

What's on Offer

  • Up to circa £50,000 DoE
  • Good pension and company-related benefits
  • Professional development within an established international organisation.
