Are you a qualified Electrician with experience in repairs and maintenance? Join Peabody's Repairs Team and help keep residents safe by delivering high-quality electrical repairs, testing and installations across our homes.
Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you'll carry out a wide range of electrical works, including repairs, fault finding, EICR testing and consumer unit replacements. You'll play a vital role in achieving first-time fixes, maintaining compliance and delivering excellent customer service.
What you'll be doing
Carry out electrical repairs and maintenance to a high standard, achieving first-time fixes wherever possible.
Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and identify any remedial works required.
Undertake fault finding, testing and inspection activities.
Install and replace consumer units, heat alarms and smoke alarms.
Complete certification and test documentation accurately and compliantly.
Carry out core drilling for fan installations where required.
Manage your workload effectively and work to agreed schedules and performance targets.
Ensure materials, equipment and resources are available to minimise follow-on works and maximise productivity.
Deliver excellent customer service and take ownership of issues through to resolution
