One of the UK's leading electrical wholesalers is looking for a commercially-minded Business Manager to take the lead at a new branch opening in Bexley. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to take ownership of a new operation, develop customer relationships and drive sales and profitability.

You'll have the autonomy to grow the branch, identify new business opportunities and build a strong presence in the local market, with the support of a well-established national organisation.

The Role

As Business Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running and commercial performance of the branch. Your responsibilities will include:

Taking full responsibility for branch performance and profitability

Driving sales growth and developing new business opportunities

Building and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers

Leading, motivating and developing the branch team

Overseeing stock, purchasing and day-to-day operations

Maintaining high standards of customer service

Increasing the branch's presence and market share within the local area

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

Experience within electrical wholesale or a related trade or distribution sector

Previous management experience, or a strong track record in a commercially focused sales role

A proven ability to develop customer relationships and win new business

A strong commercial mindset with a focus on sales, growth and profitability

The leadership skills to motivate a team and build a successful operation

A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work autonomously
