The Occasionall Group are looking for a festive group of people to join us at Christmas at Bewl Water!
🦺 Role: Event Assistant
All Event Assistants must be flexible across areas. You may be placed in different roles on different days to best support event operations. We'll always try to place you somewhere you're comfortable.
Below are the areas you may be assigned to. Please note: many areas involve a mix of indoor, covered, and outdoor spaces. Most areas are not heated. Shifts range from approximately 7.5 to 11 hours depending on the area.
🎟️ Check-in & Guest Welcome Be the first friendly face families see as they arrive for their adventure.
Greet and check in guests at entry points
Guide families from car parks to the entrance and through to the Quest
Scan tickets, manage visitor flow and keep things running smoothly
🎨 Workshop & Activity Support Help run the creative, hands-on workshops at the heart of the experience.
Support activities in Rosemary's Bakery, the Elves' Workshop, the Cheer Command Centre, and more
Set up, facilitate, and reset workshops between guest groups
Keep spaces tidy, well-stocked, and ready for the next intake
📸 Photo & Retail Ops Help families capture and take home their magical memories.
Manage photo stations and assist families with photo ops
Support self-serve photo collection and retail areas
Process sales, answer queries, and keep service areas tidy
🍬 Candy Land / Free Flow Keep the festive food court and free-play areas running smoothly.
Clear and maintain tables in the Candy Land food court
Support visitor flow and way-finding in the free-roam areas
🎄 Mrs Claus Experience Support the enhanced Mrs Claus meet-and-greet in the enchanted woodland.
Help manage the experience area and guest flow
Ensure a calm, magical atmosphere for families during their visit
🚗 Travel
The site is in a rural location with limited or no public transport access
You'll need to make your own way to and from site, Car sharing is encouraged
