We believe great work should be rewarded. In addition to your hourly rate, you'll have the opportunity to earn a productivity bonus through our piece-work scheme. Hit agreed targets and you'll earn additional payments for every pallet you successfully recondition. The more you achieve, the more you can earn!

What You'll Be Doing

As a General Operative, you'll play an important role in keeping production moving safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include:

- Sorting and repairing pallets and other wood products

- Using tools and equipment provided safely and effectively

- Maintaining excellent quality standards

- Completing work accurately and efficiently to customer specifications

- Keeping your workstation organised and productive

- Carrying out equipment checks and reporting any issues

- Supporting housekeeping and site cleanliness

- Working flexibly across different production areas when required

- Contributing ideas to improve efficiency and reduce waste

- Following all health and safety procedures at all times

- Enjoys working in a hands-on environment

- Takes pride in producing quality work

- Has a positive, can-do approach

- Works well as part of a team

- Is reliable with good timekeeping

- Understands the importance of safety

- Is motivated to achieve targets and maximise earnings

Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, production, timber, recycling or pallet repair environments is beneficial, but not essential as full training will be provided.
