Brightwork are delighted to be supporting a leading organisation within the infrastructure and operational services sector in the recruitment of an HR & Payroll Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to take ownership of HR and payroll activities across a multi-site operation spanning Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Reporting into senior leadership, you will lead a small HR, Recruitment and Payroll team while acting as a trusted advisor to managers across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support employee relations activity, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management.

Manage and develop a team of HR, Recruitment and Payroll professionals.

Oversee accurate and timely payroll delivery.

Partner with managers on people-related matters and workforce planning.

Ensure HR and payroll compliance, reporting and record management.

Support organisational change, engagement initiatives and business improvement projects.

About You

Previous experience in an HR Manager, People Manager or HR & Payroll role.

Strong employee relations and employment law knowledge.

Hands-on payroll experience.

Experience working within a multi-site environment.

Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.

CIPD qualification and Sage Payroll experience would be advantageous.
