Job Description
We are looking for an experienced project professional with a strong background in Hard FM, building services, engineering, construction or estates environments.
Operating within live and operationally critical clinical settings, you will ensure project decisions support patient safety, clinical continuity, compliance, resilience of critical engineering systems and effective asset management.

Maintain accurate project records including programme, cost, forecast, risk, actions, change control and delivery status within Monday.com.
Manage projects through applicable RIBA stages, from feasibility and design through to commissioning, handover and post-occupancy review.
Coordinate design reviews and stakeholder engagement with Hard FM teams, Estates, clinical users, contractors and specialist advisers.
Plan and manage permits, isolations, shutdowns, phasing, access arrangements and infection prevention measures to minimise disruption to clinical services.
Maintain effective commercial control, including budgets, forecasts, variations, cash flow, invoicing and final account management.
Ensure asset information, commissioning documentation, certificates, drawings, warranties and maintenance information are accurately handed over and reflected within CAFM systems.
Act as the primary site interface for project stakeholders, building trusted relationships and driving continuous improvement through lessons learned.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Demonstrable project management experience within building services, engineering, construction, estates or Hard FM environments.
Experience delivering projects within occupied and operationally sensitive environments.
PFI experience is essential, with healthcare sector experience strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015, project health and safety, programme management, risk management, change control and contractor management.
Practical understanding of NHS estates requirements, including HTMs, HBNs, infection prevention and control, critical engineering resilience and live clinical project constraints.
Experience delivering projects aligned to RIBA stages.
Knowledge of lifecycle planning, SAMP or LAMP environments, CAFM systems and structured asset handback processes.
Strong commercial acumen covering budgets, forecasting, variations, contract administration, procurement and supply chain management.
Ability to identify, manage and escalate safety, compliance, operational and commercial risks appropriately.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across client, operational and technical teams.
