Summary

As a Health Care Assistant you would be required to help adults, elderly or infirmed people enjoy safe, comfortable and relatively independent lives at home. You would assist clients with a range of daily duties, including personal care, meal preparation, feeding, prompting or administering medications, running errands and attending appointments. You would also perform some common domestic tasks on behalf of the client.

• Helping or supervising client washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Preparing client meals and snacks and feeding or supervising eating and drinking

• Prompting and/or Administering medications

• Cleaning home, laundry, shopping and other domestic duties as needed

• Transporting the client to medical appointments and helping them run errands

• Monitoring client health conditions

• Reporting client progress and any concerns to Care Manager

Essential requirements

•Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Permanent Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments. • Demonstrated patient care skills with a focus on senior care, hospice care, or dementia/dementia-related conditions. • Knowledge of dementia care techniques and behavioral management strategies. • Experience administering medication safely and accurately. • Familiarity with caregiving responsibilities. • Valid driving license and access to a car. The role involves travelling between clients' homes across Kenilworth and nearby areas of Warwickshire. Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own reliable vehicle.
