Summary

Heppelthwaite the Red Van Plumbers is looking for experienced Gas Engineers and Boiler Installers to join our growing plumbing and heating team.

We're a family business, established in 1948, based in Bourne End, Buckinghamshire. You'll work in customers' homes across Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, West London, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire and Surrey. Whether your strength is servicing and breakdowns or boiler installations, we'll match the work to your strengths.

What you'll be doing:

- Servicing and maintaining boilers and heating systems

- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs

- Installing and replacing boilers

- Carrying out heating upgrades and general plumbing

- Working to current Gas Safety regulations and manufacturer instructions

- Keeping customers informed about their work

- Completing job information on a tablet or smartphone

Earning potential: £30,000 to £60,000 depending on experience. Top earnings are for experienced installers, including out-of-hours work.

We welcome experienced subcontractors as well as employed engineers.

As part of the Evans Group, you could also add new skills such as heat pumps and underfloor heating, or progress into supervisory and senior roles. Experience or qualifications in oil, LPG, commercial heating, heat pumps or underfloor heating would be an advantage. Salary negotiable for candidates with additional relevant skills and experience.
