We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and community-focused professional to coordinate the delivery of the Pride in Place programme and support the successful implementation of projects funded through government and local investment.
The role is funded through the Pride In Place fund and will support the Chair and members of the Neighbourhood Board whilst being employed by Tamworth Borough Council as accountable body.

• Maintain programme plans, action trackers, risk registers and performance dashboards.
• Monitor progress against agreed outcomes and funding requirements.
• Prepare reports and briefings for the Neighbourhood Board, senior leaders and elected members.
• Support budget monitoring and expenditure reporting.
• Ensure compliance with governance, assurance and grant funding requirements.
• Collect and analyse information to demonstrate programme impact and support evaluation activities.
• Identify delivery risks and work with partners to develop practical solutions.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about communities and has the ability to bring people together to achieve shared goals.
You will have:
• A Level/Level 3 education desired or substantial equivalent experience in regeneration, community development, public administration or a related field.
• Experience of coordinating projects or programmes, ideally within local government, regeneration or community settings.
• Experience of project management and programme delivery, including capital projects.
• Knowledge of grant-funded programmes, governance arrangements and compliance requirements.
• Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership-working skills.
• Confidence in analysing information and presenting reports to a variety of audiences.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office, Excel and associated reporting tools.
• A proactive and solution-focused approach.
