Tree Surgeon / Arborist Climber - Hassocks, Sussex - £28,000-£42,000

The Job:

A growing arboricultural contractor in Hassocks, Sussex, is looking for an experienced Tree Surgeon / Arborist Climber to join its team. This is a permanent, full time position covering a range of tree surgery work across different projects. You will carry out climbing, pruning, dismantling and crown reductions, working to high safety standards and delivering quality results.

The role offers the opportunity to develop your skills with a business that invests in modern equipment, training and career progression.

Key responsibilities:

- Tree pruning, maintenance and removals

- Tree dismantling, crown reductions and sectional felling

- Climbing and carrying out aerial tree work

- Operating and maintaining arboricultural equipment

- Following health and safety procedures and maintaining high standards of work

- Working effectively both independently and as part of a team

The Company:

Our client is an established and growing arboricultural contractor with a strong reputation for providing quality tree care services. The business invests in its workforce through modern equipment, ongoing training and opportunities to gain further qualifications and progress within the industry.

The Candidate:

- Minimum of two years' climbing experience

- NPTC CS30, CS31, CS38 and CS39 qualifications

- Full UK driving licence; B+E entitlement would be an advantage

- Emergency First Aid Certificate

- Good understanding of arboricultural health and safety requirements

- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and within a team

- Salary of £28,000-£42,000, depending on experience and qualifications
