Summary

Holt Engineering are currently recruiting for a Machine Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business in the local area.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is practically minded and wants to develop their skills within a busy manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities for the Machine Operative:

- Supporting the production and manufacturing process

- Using basic hand tools and equipment

- Measuring, cutting and preparing materials to specification

- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards

- Following production instructions and health & safety procedures

- Keeping the workspace clean, organised and safe

The ideal Machine Operative candidate will:

- Have previous experience in a factory, production or workshop environment

- Be confident using basic hand tools

- Have good attention to detail and a strong work ethic

- Be reliable, punctual and willing to learn

- Be comfortable working as part of a team

Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing.
