This is a permanent daytime opportunity with regular work, overtime availability and a minimum of eight hours paid.Key responsibilities• Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly• Complete deliveries and collections in line with planned schedules• Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects promptly• Secure loads safely and complete delivery paperwork accurately• Provide professional customer service at collection and delivery locations• Follow relevant road transport, health and safety procedures• Maintain high standards of vehicle and load careSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence• Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)• Digital tachograph card• Safe, responsible and professional approach to driving• Good communication and time-management skills• Ability to work independently and follow delivery instructions• Previous Class 2 driving experience is desirableBenefits• £17.00–£18.00 per hour• Minimum eight hours paid• Paid every Wednesday• Overtime available• Permanent employment opportunity• Day shiftsAbout the companyThe company is a family-run logistics business based in Worcestershire, providing freight transport, warehousing, storage and palletised distribution services.
