We are currently recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join the team at our Birmingham branch.

What you'll be doing

As a member of the Transport team you'll be responsible for coordinating the efficient and timely delivery of customer orders while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and operational accuracy.

Your responsibilities will be to:

- Plan and scheduling daily delivery routes to make sure deliveries and timely and efficient.

- Liaise with customers regarding delivery updates, order changes, and service queries

- Communicate with drivers and branch teams to support smooth transport operations

- Monitor vehicle movements and delivery progress throughout the day

- Resolve delivery issues and customer queries quickly and effectively

- Maintain accurate transport records, paperwork, and system updates

Who we're looking for

Someone who is an organised, reliable team player with the ability to build positive working relationships.

You'll need:

- Previous experience in a transport, logistics, or distribution environment

- Strong route planning and organisational skills

- Excellent communication and customer service abilities

- The ability to prioritise workload and perform well under pressure

- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and transport systems

- Strong problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy
