Summary
To co-ordinate and provide skilled clinical practice (without direct supervision) to patients, in accordance with responsibilities under NMC/HCPC Code of Conduct. To contribute to the continued development of Nurses/Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs), including the supervision of junior nurses/ODPs and support staff Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating programmes of evidenced-based clinical care to a group of patients. Assist and contribute to the management and organisation of a theatre or unit Actively contribute to setting and maintaining high standards of quality nursing/ODP care. Actively participate in the education, development and supervision of other staff members. please refer to the job description/person specification for further details on the role.
