Summary

Knowsley Treatment Rooms are looking to recruit a full time permanent Band 4 Nursing associate to join our team. In return we offer the opportunity to be part of an exciting, challenging and developing service, with the ability to work autonomously within a robust framework of regular support, supervision and trainingopportunities.The person we will choose must have experience in either a treatment room setting or worked with a district nursing team

The role of the Nursing Associate is to work with the multi professional team and the Registered Nurse to assess, plan, organise and deliver clinical care in line with service and patient needs, as agreed with supervising clinicians.

Nursing Associates are accountable professionals who are equipped with the knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes and behaviours relevant to employment as a Nursing Associate and will work to a nationally recognised Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) code of conduct. They must meet the NMC standards of proficiency and recognise and work within the limits of their competency.

Administering injections

Performing Dopplers

Applying Compression bandages

Ear irrigation

Removal of sutures/clips
