Summary
Managing long term conditions. Working collaboratively with general practitioners to provide the highest level of care. Assessing, evaluating and monitoring treatment plans. Be competent and up to date with Cervical Cytology screening, childhood immunisations, contraception management and all aspects of immunisations and vaccinations. Be proactive in promoting a healthy lifestyle and care navigate to appropriate services. Mentor and support health care assistants. Advise on foreign travel and administering travel vaccinations. Managing complex pressure dressings and wound care management. Ensure infection control procedures and policies are followed and kept current. Participate in practice audits, development plans and meetings. Maintain own annual registration with the NMC and adhering to Code of Professional Conduct. Promote own continuous professional development. Any other reasonable duties that may be required on occasion.
