Summary
Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking to recruit experienced Food Production & Packing Operatives for our client based in Wigston, Leicester.
Working in a clean and well-maintained food production environment, you'll be involved in producting and packing baked goods, with opportunities to work across different departments.
The Role
•
Working across various food production departments, including the oven and baking department.
•
Packing baked products and placing items onto trays.
•
Moving trolleys and carrying out general warehouse duties.
•
Some manual handling, depending on the department.
•
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and working safely.
Shift Patterns & Pay
There are two full-time night shift options available:
•
Saturday to Tuesday: 6pm–6am
•
Wednesday to Saturday: 6pm–6am
Both shifts operate on a 4 on, 4 off rotation.
Pay: £14.87 per hour
About You
•
Previous food production or food packing experience is desirable.
•
Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts.
•
Reliable, hardworking and happy to work across different departments.
•
Able to travel to and from Wigston for 6pm starts and 6am finishes, as public transport is limited at these times.
