Your new company
Hays Education is working in partnership with a specialist SEND school in Rugby to recruit a full-time SEN Teaching Assistants.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for consistency and the chance to build a long-term career within a specialist school. The role will initially be through Hays, with potential for the successful candidate to be considered for a permanent position after an initial 12-week placement.
Your new role
Working Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm, you will support children and young people with a range of additional needs within a specialist SEND environment.
You will work closely with teaching and support staff, helping pupils engage in learning, develop their independence and achieve their individual goals.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience supporting children, young people or adults with additional needs
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, SEN TA, Learning Support Assistant, Support Worker or similar
- A patient, resilient and positive approach
- Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs
- Ability to commit to a full-time, long-term position
- An interest in potentially progressing into a permanent school-based role
