Summary

Accounts & Bookkeeper (Full-Time)

Pay: From £14.60 per hour

Hours: 34 hours per week (flexible)

Location: Office-based

We are recruiting for an experienced and self-sufficient

Accounts & Bookkeeper to join an established business on a full-time basis.

This role would suit someone who is confident working independently and capable of managing the day-to-day accounts function from start to finish, reporting directly to management.

Key Responsibilities

Processing payroll and pension administration

Managing PAYE submissions and HMRC payments

Raising sales invoices and maintaining the sales ledger

Managing purchase ledger activities

Credit control and chasing outstanding payments

Bank reconciliations

Preparing and submitting VAT returns

Maintaining accurate financial records using Sage 50 Accounts and Sage 50 Payroll

Liaising with external accountants when required

Essential Requirements

Proven bookkeeping and accounts experience

Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts and Sage 50 Payroll

Confident managing accounts processes independently

Experience with invoicing, purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, VAT, PAYE and pensions

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines

Working Hours

34 hours per week
