Summary

3.5 Tonne Van Drivers

Milton Keynes (UK-wide work required)

£13.00 per hour | £19.50 OT after 40 hours

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for 3.5T Van Drivers on behalf of a leading parcel delivery and logistics operator, responsible for collecting, transporting and delivering thousands of consignments nationwide each day. This is an opportunity with excellent earning potential and long-term prospects.

About the Role:

3.5T Van Driver - Main duties and requirements are:

* Collecting parcels from both commercial and residential locations on a designated route

* Drivers to use their own phone device and download delivery/collection app

* Completing approx 20 stops per shift (subject to route requirements)

* Loading and securing collected parcels safely within the vehicle

* Providing excellent customer service at collection points

* Drivers must use their own smartphone and download the delivery/collection app to manage and record collections

* Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with company procedures

* Must hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

* No DD, DR, DG, BA, CD or TT99 endorsements accepted

This is a physically active role involving regular lifting and handling of parcels throughout the shift.

Working Hours:

* Minimum 8 hours per day

* Minimum 10-12 hour shifts

* Day shifts Monday to Friday

Pay:

* Standard rate of £13.00 per hour

* Overtime rate of £19.50 per hour after 40 hours

What We're Looking For:

* Valid 3.5t entitlement (Category B) Licence

* Confident driving on local roads and navigating collection routes across Milton Keynes and surrounding areas
