Summary

We are representing a reputable car dealership group in Hatfield, actively seeking a skilled vehicle technician to join their dedicated team. This vehicle technician role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals committed to maintaining high standards of vehicle servicing and repair within a modern, state-of-the-art facility.

Benefits:

- Competitive salary between £38,000 and £48,000 per annum, with potential to earn up to £60,000 including bonuses

- Attractive bonus scheme with individual bonuses of £400 to £1,200 and additional group incentives based on performance

- Working hours from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with only one in four Saturdays on a rota, finishing at 12pm

- 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing after one year’s service, plus an additional birthday holiday

- Modern workshop facilities with 16-18 ramps and top-quality equipment

Duties:

- Conduct diagnostics, repairs, and routine servicing on a variety of vehicles to manufacturer standards

- Maintain technical expertise, particularly with luxury brands such as Volkswagen and Bentley

- Ensure all work is completed within specified timeframes and to customer satisfaction

- Complete detailed repair reports and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers

- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations within the workshop environment

- Assist with training and mentoring junior technicians where required

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Master Technician with a strong diagnostic ability

- Good understanding of luxury vehicle systems and components

- Full UK driving licence

- Relevant qualifications such as IMI or ATA endorsements

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

- Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
