Summary

Are you looking for a role that is as rewarding as it is challenging?

If your answer is yes, then this role is for you. The typical day involves caring for residents detained under the Mental Health Act, also residents with learning difficulties, physical disabilities and behaviours that challenge.

You will be required to provide personal care and support to our service users, as well as helping residents with their daily activities whilst on shift and carrying out other general duties.

You will use your knowledge and experience to aid the residents with their activities of daily living providing a care centred approach round their detailed care package.

Our Care Assistants are required to have sound experience in Health and Social Care.

As of all aspects of Care you will be expected to attend to general housekeeping duties as well as being required to complete paperwork accurately and in detail and report accordingly.

To be suitable for this position you must have:

- An enhanced DBS dated within the last 6 months, on the update service or have the facilities to pay for one up front

- Have a two-year referenceable work history

- Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training certificates

- At least 3 months experience within a similar setting

This is an ongoing role that has the potential to become permanent for successful candidates.

Shift times are :-

Days – 0700 to 1430

Other shifts are available on request.

The rate of pay for this role is £13.00 per hour. You will also accrue up to 28 days for time served.
