Summary
We are looking for an Children's Social Worker to join the Family Help Pod Team in the Wokingham area
Do not apply if you do not have a Social Work qualification with a minimum 3 years permanent experience with an English local authority.
About the team
Supports children, young people and families who are experiencing difficulties, helping them get the right support early and preventing problems from escalating. The team's focus is typically on early intervention, family support, safeguarding and improving outcomes for children, while helping families build on their strengths and achieve sustainable change.
What we are looking for
To demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, a sound understanding of children's legislation and safeguarding thresholds, and the ability to produce clear, analytical and evidence-based assessments and case recordings. They will be committed to relationship-based practice, reflective learning, continuous professional development and achieving positive outcomes for children and families.
It is Essential to have previous experience working with children in care, safeguarding, or working with children and young people with disabilities, your application will be highly regarded. Social Workers must hold a Social Work qualification
(Degree/DipSW/CQSW) and have
a minimum of three years' post-qualifying experience. A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are also required.
