Looking for a finance role where you can use your numerical skills, learn something new and work with a fantastic team in a successful company close to Chorley town centre?

If you have experience in accounts or finance and enjoy working with numbers, this could be the Finance Administrator role you're looking for.

You don't need previous experience in loan administration. If you're numerate, highly accurate and have a good eye for detail, this is an opportunity to build on your existing finance experience and develop new skills.

With a salary of up to £30,000, 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, private healthcare, a bonus scheme and free parking, there's plenty to like. You'll also be joining a company that values its people, offers regular staff rewards and actively promotes from within.

What will you be doing as a Finance Administrator?

Working as part of a team, you'll help ensure commercial property loans are administered accurately, payments are processed correctly and financial records are kept up to date.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administering commercial and corporate property loans, adding new loans to the system and updating existing records
  • Calculating loan interest, fees and charges, and preparing statements for clients and lenders
  • Preparing and processing payments, monitoring company bank accounts and maintaining payment and reconciliation records
  • Preparing billing notices, remittance reports and regular client reports
  • Arranging fee invoices with the Finance team and issuing invoices to borrowers
  • Maintaining interest rates and keeping loan information, portfolio databases and spreadsheets accurate
  • Monitoring important payment dates, fees and deadlines
  • Liaising with Loan Managers, lenders, clients and other third parties to resolve queries and keep everything running smoothly

It's a varied role where attention to detail is essential, and you'll have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of commercial property finance as you go

What's in it for you?

  • Salary of £27,000-£30,000, depending on experience
  • 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to buy up to five additional days
  • Discretionary bonus scheme after your probationary period
  • Private healthcare after probation
  • Company pension scheme
  • Free parking
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Access to a Lifestyle and Health Coach
  • Sports and social activities, company events and regular staff rewards, including free lunches on the last Friday of the month
  • Employee referral reward scheme
  • Genuine opportunities to develop your career, with a company that promotes from within

Why would you join this company?

This is a great opportunity to join an established, successful business where you can make use of your existing finance or accounts experience while learning something new.

You won't need to arrive with all the answers or have worked in loan administration before. What's important is having the right approach, enjoying working with figures and taking pride in producing accurate work.
