Summary

Our client is looking for a confident, customer-focused Customer Contact Advisor to join their busy team.

This is a fast-paced role where you will be the first point of contact for customers, handling a high volume of calls and responding to a wide range of housing-related enquiries. You’ll need to be comfortable speaking with customers from all backgrounds, able to quickly understand their needs, and confident in providing clear, helpful information.

No two days will be the same, so we’re looking for someone who can learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and remain calm and professional in a busy environment.

Key responsibilities

Handle a high volume of inbound calls from customers regarding a variety of housing-related enquiries.

Provide accurate, helpful and professional information and advice.

Listen carefully to customers, understand their requirements and identify the appropriate next steps.

Deal with enquiries efficiently while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Record and update customer information accurately on internal systems.

Work closely with colleagues and other teams to resolve enquiries and provide the best possible customer experience.

Follow relevant procedures and policies when dealing with customer enquiries.

Manage challenging or sensitive conversations in a calm, professional and empathetic manner.

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Is confident dealing directly with customers, both over the telephone and potentially face-to-face.

Can learn new information, systems and processes quickly.

Is comfortable working in a busy, target-driven or high-volume contact environment.

Has the ability to manage multiple enquiries while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Works well as part of a team but is also capable of working independently.

Is patient, approachable and able to deal with customers in a professional and empathetic way.

Can remain calm and positive when dealing with challenging enquiries.

Has good IT skills and is comfortable using computer systems and databases.

Please note: We will require a copy of your UK right to work documentation before an application can be progressed.

Due to the unprecedented volume of response we are currently receiving regrettably we are no longer able to respond to every application individually. If you have not heard back from us within 48 hours, please assume your application for this role has been unsuccessful. We do read each CV carefully and if the situation changes or another potentially suitable role becomes active, we will be back in contact.
