JoinSodexo as a Steward and play an important role in delivering an excellentdining experience! You’ll help ensure the dining room is clean, welcoming andwell presented, supporting the team to provide friendly, professional serviceto every guest.
You’lltake pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation andcustomer service, while working closely with colleagues to ensure dailyservices and functions run smoothly. You’ll also follow food safety and Health& Safety procedures, helping create a safe, professional and welcomingenvironment for everyone.
What you’ll do:
- Support the dining room team to deliver a friendly, professional service, promoting teamwork and assisting colleagues where needed.
- Provide excellent front-of-house service, ensuring tables are set correctly and service, presentation and quality standards are maintained.
- Maintain high standards of personal presentation, cleanliness and organisation across the dining room and service areas.
- Follow food safety, Health & Safety procedures, safe working practices and cleaning schedules, reporting any faults, defects or breakages promptly to the Mess Manager.
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of functions and special events, ensuring the dining areas are ready and guests receive a positive dining experience.
What you bring:
- Background in hospitality, catering or front-of-house service, delivering high standards of customer care.
- Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
- Good understanding of food safety, Health & Safety and hygiene standards.
- Professional approach, with excellent personal presentation and attention to detail.
- Silver Service training or knowledge of formal dining standards would be desirable.
