Summary
G4S are currently recruiting for a Security Supervisor to join our team in Rochester, working in at a local Power Station!
Contract Information:
Hours - 60 hours per week
Shift Pattern - Monday to Friday, 6am - 6pm
Pay Rate - £15.88 per hour
SIA Licences - Security Guarding or Door Supervisor licence required
Experience Level - 1 year or more in a Security Supervisor role
You must have a full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle as the site is not accessible via public transport.

Your Time at Work
- Lead the site security team by example, responding effectively to any incidents or threats to the site.
- Produce high-standard incident reports, clearly communicating the actions taken to all relevant stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of communication for the team, the site client, and G4S management, both face-to-face and over the telephone.
- Demonstrate a strong level of IT literacy and experience.
- Complete detailed shift handovers and maintain the digital Daily Occurrence Book (DOB).
- Manage the booking of visitors and deliveries to a high standard, verifying details with the relevant host.
- Coordinate and conduct site security inductions.
- Maintain the induction database and ensure client KPIs are kept fully up to date.
- Complete and document monthly contractor checks for the site client.
- Monitor CCTV effectively, reporting any occurrences to the on-site operations team and the client.
- Maintain the vehicle access database and issue permits to drivers entering the site.
-Operate the weighbridge and deal effectively with waste lorries.
- Conduct vehicle searches and complete the search log to a high standard.
- Carry out mobile and foot site patrols, ensuring all required PPE is worn and carried at all times.
- Maintain the site patrol vehicle, reporting any defects immediately and arranging for repairs.
- Maintain training records for the core site team and support officers.
- Prepare for and conduct the monthly security meeting between the site client and G4S management.
- Manage site rosters and arrange operational cover in coordination with the Contract Support Manager and Scheduler.

You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to always provide a friendly and professional service.
