QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN

£45,000–£52,000 + Company Van & Fuel Card

Camberley | Full-time, Permanent PAYE | 40-hour working week

Amtech Electrical is looking for a qualified electrician with at least two years’ post-qualification experience to join our team.

Established in 2012, we are a Camberley-based NICEIC Approved Contractor carrying out varied electrical work in domestic and commercial properties.

WHAT WE OFFER

• £45,000 starting salary, with salaries up to £52,000 depending on experience and skills.

• Company van and fuel card, with the van taken home.

• A 40-hour working week: standard hours of 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

• Opportunities to finish early with a full day’s pay, provided the day’s allocated work is completed to the required standard and agreed with the office.

• Company-funded training to develop your skills and support career progression, with course fees and time spent attending fully paid.

• Evening and weekend overtime opportunities, paid at time-and-a-half or double time depending on the hours worked.

• Paid travel time for qualifying journeys, depending on distance and agreed arrangements.

• 28 days’ annual leave, including bank holidays. We normally close for approximately two weeks over Christmas, with part of your annual leave reserved for this period.

THE WORK

You’ll undertake a varied mix of domestic and commercial work, including:

• Electrical installations, rewires, extensions and alterations.

• Consumer units, distribution boards, three-phase supplies and machinery connections.

• Lighting and power, including LED upgrades, emergency and security lighting.

• Fault finding, repairs, planned maintenance, testing, inspection, EICRs and PAT testing.

• EV charging installations for homes, workplaces and car parks.

• Fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, door-entry systems, data cabling and electrical containment.

Projects range from homes and offices to schools, healthcare facilities and specialist cleanroom environments.

You do not need experience in every area listed. We welcome electricians with strong domestic or commercial experience who want to broaden their skills.

LOCATION & TRAVEL

We work mainly across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire, with some projects further afield across the South of England. A willingness to travel to customer sites is essential.
