Summary
The Best Connection is currently recruiting for Line Pickers for our well established client based in Epsom.

Key Responsibilities of the
Line Picker
:
Assist with the day-to-day running of the yard.
Sort, segregate and manage different types of waste and recyclable materials.
Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
Keep the yard clean, tidy and organised at all times.
Follow all health and safety procedures and environmental regulations.
Identify and report any hazards, damaged equipment or unsafe working conditions.
Assist machine and plant operators where required, subject to training and authorisation.
Support colleagues to ensure the site operates efficiently.
Requirements of the Line Picker:
A reliable, punctual and hardworking individual.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good awareness of health and safety.
The ability to carry out physical, manual work.
Previous experience in waste management, recycling, construction or a yard environment is desirable but not essential.
