As a Cleaner, you’ll be part of a supportive and hardworking team responsible for maintaining the campus to a consistently high standard. You’ll help ensure offices, communal areas and facilities remain clean, safe and welcoming for everyone who uses the site.

With multiple buildings and a steady flow of activity, this is a busy and varied role that’s ideal for someone who enjoys being active, takes pride in their work and appreciates working in a peaceful rural environment.

Due to the remote location, a full driving licence and access to reliable transport are essential.

The Role

Maintain a clean, tidy and welcoming environment across the client site, ensuring high standards are consistently achieved.

Clean offices, communal areas and other designated facilities as required.

Take responsibility for cleaning equipment, consumables and materials, reporting any damage, faults or repairs required to the management team.

Use all chemicals and cleaning solutions safely and correctly, in line with company and manufacturer operating procedures.

Follow the client’s Fire, Health & Safety and Security procedures at all times.

Carry out deep cleans, specialist cleans and periodic cleaning duties as required.

Ensure waste is collected and disposed of correctly using the appropriate receptacles.

Support with ad hoc cleaning projects in response to the needs of the business.

Undertake any additional reasonable duties requested by your Line Manager.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a high-quality service across the site.

About You

Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience.

The ability to work independently using your own initiative, as well as effectively as part of a team.

A flexible and positive approach, with the willingness to support colleagues and provide cover where required.

The ability to work effectively with customers, employees and teams at all levels.

Good communication skills and the ability to communicate with all site users in a polite, professional and efficient manner.

A courteous and professional approach at all times.

Good attention to detail and pride in delivering a high standard of cleanliness.

A reliable and committed approach to attendance and timekeeping.

A full driving licence and access to reliable transport, due to the rural location of the site.
