Are you passionate about making a difference?

The Society of St James (SSJ) has been working in Hampshire for over 50 years, delivering high impact, person-centred, accommodation services to adults and young people experiencing homelessness, substance use and mental health problems.

We believe that every person is of worth and we are prepared to take risks to house and support the most at risk and socially excluded members of society.

The Impact You'll Make In this role, you will play a key enabling role in the People & Culture team by delivering a welcoming, candidate focused, and accurate administrative service across the Society of St James.

This role combines core HR (people and culture) operations with a strong, dedicated to Learning & Development (L&D) admin duties.

From managing recruitment logistics, starter paperwork, and probation tracking to coordinating daily training bookings, administering e-learning portals (My Learning Cloud), and logging training compliance, you will keep our workflows running smoothly.

By delivering seamless L&D and HR administration, you directly enable our L&D Lead and People & Culture Advisors to focus on strategic workforce development and making SSJ a truly great place to work! Who We're Looking For We are looking for an organised, proactive, and friendly team player who brings real enthusiasm for both HR administration and Learning & Development.

If you have fantastic attention to detail, love keeping systems like My Learning Cloud and HealthBoxHR up to date, and enjoy supporting colleagues across SSJ with their training and HR queries, this role is a perfect fit.

You will be customer focused, skilled at triaging busy inboxes, comfortable with training logistics and minute taking, and deeply aligned with SSJ’s social purpose and values.
