Job Advert
This is an exciting time to join the Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership. Two new permanent posts have been created to support the delivery of Living Well Falkirk services.
Living Well Falkirk has a pivotal role in promoting healthy ageing and providing information to help adults maintain their abilities so they can keep doing the things that are important to them and avoid or minimise the need for care services. A trauma-informed, relationship-based and strengths-focused approach sits at the heart of our practice and informs everything we do.
We are seeking candidates who are you passionate about promoting early intervention and prevention, who have excellent communication skills, and confidence in using technology in the workplace.
You will work in the Living Well Falkirk Team, which is based within the Forth Valley Sensory Centre and provides a service to adults throughout the Falkirk area. You will be responsible for contributing to the continuous update of information within the Living Well Falkirk website, for delivering video and in-person appointments to citizens, and for delivering information sessions and training to community groups and professionals.
Experience and confidence in using technology, including websites, the internet, Microsoft Office applications, and electronic recording systems is essential. The ability to work independently, with citizens, and jointly with other disciplines is required. Experience of working with people with a range of community care needs and of delivering presentations is desirable.
Why Join the Living Well Falkirk Service?
We are proud to offer:
- A culture where your voice matters, with opportunities to help shape how we work as a team, service and organisation
- Collaborative working with the ADL Smartcare Team – the suppliers of the software packages for Living Well services
- Strong partnership working with Falkirk Social Work Services’ Occupational Therapy Team and NHS Forth Valley teams, providing excellent opportunities for joint working and training
- Excellent in-house training programmes
- Generous annual leave entitlement
- Mobile and flexible working arrangements to support a healthy work-life balance
- Local Government Pension Scheme
- Employee benefits and rewards scheme
- Flexible and home working options in line with Falkirk Council policy
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership, the cost of which will be met by the preferred candidate.
These posts are permanent full-time posts, 37 hours per week but applications from those who wish to work part-time will also be considered.
You must have the ability to be mobile across the Falkirk area, and to transport training and exhibition materials, and demonstration devices to various HSCP buildings and other public buildings.
